ICP were briefed to adapt the ‘Ode to Lesvos’ campaign for global and local market use. We were supplied six global masters, which ranged from five to two minutes in length. The films talk to members of a small village that were nominated for a Nobel Peace prize because of their work helping migrants.
The films are in a documentary style with wall-to-wall talking in Greek. This meant that to localize for global and local markets, we translated into six languages across sixteen countries and added subtitles. This totaled in 108 different edits being delivered over the course of two weeks.
We created versions for different types of online platforms including YouTube, Facebook and Unruly. We also created five cut downs of the edits for global use by using elements from all the films supplied.
