In the age of Netflix, TikTok, Digital Out of Home and YouTube the significance of multi-channel video distribution and streaming media can't be under-represented. Video assets are often produced at extremely high resolution, go through a vigorous production, approval, and management process internally, before being distributed in broadcast quality on the big screen. Subsequently they must be adapted for a variety of channels and devices. Intellectual property, geographic restrictions, and other factors come into play. In this session, we'll look at how DAM systems are increasingly accommodating the management of video, and facilitating multi-channel distribution.
